Thomas Prechal wins National Cello Competition

The most exciting part of the Cello Biennale was won by Thomas Prechal. ‘Thomas’ playing is intelligent with great attention to structure and form, he has a clear sound and good projection. Second prize went to Bruno Tobon. The third prize winner was Ori Ron. Ori Ron also won the Prize for the best interpretation of the commissioned composition, this time composed by Matthias Bartolomey. Mudrė Buckutė won the Encouragement Prize and the Start in Splendor Prize, a learning path in which the winner gets to programme and promote their own concert.
