Is old junk worthless, or fun and exciting? Is there music in it? What does loneliness sound like?
OLD is an absurdist musical theatre performance full of old junk, mime, old and new classical
music, jazz(rock) and illusionism. In OLD Emile and Pepijn play on, in, between and with old junk that suddenly
turns out to be much more valuable and fun than expected. They investigate age and loneliness. A
bizarre voyage of discovery with here and there a stray magic trick, for the future from the past.

Two ancient cellos, the tenth edition of the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam, and the age of the two
players, form the starting point for the theme of this brand new musical performance.
